All About St Peter's Junior School

A head teacher called Mr Clark used to play football with the children outside,
Mr Clark was here from 1999-2006.
There were tunnels under the school,
They’re damp, dusty and muddy,
We think we see a time capsule.
A teacher used to breed butterflies,
How much fun can that be?
Monica Weston a head teacher here too,
From 1987-1999,
She has her own plaque outside the old school.
There used to be a pond outside,
It got filled for safety reasons.
Mrs Heath used to own a caravan on the school site,
The boys’ toilets used to be outside.
Mrs Spindlow was a head teacher not long ago,
She was here from 2006-2016.
But now a new school is waiting,
The school is going to be great.
