Congratulations to FRED and MARGERY SWATTON of Forest Dale Road who recently celebrated their Golden Wedding (1 August) during a visit to family and friends in South Africa. Safely returned.

CICELY REEVE would like to thank all those who sent good wishes and flowers and remembered her in their prayers during her recent stay in hospital.

TED BEAUCHAMP extends a very sincere 'thank you' to all who sent good wishes and prayed for his speedy recovery during his recent time in hospital; and especially to thank members of the "Tower and Town" Assembly Team for their kind thoughts which were very much appreciated.

Welcome to ANDREW and SARAH BUMPHREY and their daughter CLARE (10 months) who have moved from Swiss Cottage to 16 George Lane. ANDREW is an Architect, working with Malcolm P. Ward, High Street.

Congratulations to GEOFF and MAUREEN JONES, whose Marriage was blessed in St. Mary's in June last. It is always good when folk give thanks for their marriage, and what better place than in church?

Congratulations also to BILL BROWNE and EVE CLARKE on the Blessing of their Marriage.

HARRY MASON who died on the eve of his retirement was a loyal and much loved member of the Savernake Hospital team, where he was charge-nurse in the operating theatre. We extend our sympathy to his family.
