Yesterday's News

Quick, the water, the water
It's flooding the boat
Someone get a bucket...
But there aren't any.
'Find the life jackets! Save the children!'
The children.
We're starting to sink,
Scream for help
Help!
Help!
There's too many in the boat,
Scream and shout
But they won't come
They don't care any more.
We have to go back
No, no...I can't go back, not there
Not again
They beat me. They destroyed my home.
I will not go back.
'Jump! Jump for your lives!'
We may perish in these cold, forsaken waters
But I can't go back.
Darkness.
They chucked my body in a truck.
And a news reporter told the story.
But he does not know.
He does not care for me.
I am yesterday's news.
