Northern Lights

There was a spectacular show of light, the sky covered in different shades of blue and green. The faintly twinkling stars just above the elegant curtains of light. The high mountains, covered in faintly luminescent snow. Directly in front of the colossal mountains lay the slightly reflective rock-pools, reflecting the glamorous sight of the Aurora Borealis. Slowly, surely, the malevolent darkness starts to creep in and envelop the sight, until all you can see is the light of your torch and the refection of it on the lake. Suddenly, the darkness is driven back to reveal the grand finale of dancing light, the most dazzling thing that your eyes have ever seen. Then, slowly the sun starts to rise, majestically climbing until the Aurora Borealis finally disappears.
